May Day is a very popular spring celebration in Santiago's school. The kids all wear flower crowns and dance around the May Pole...it's a wonderful tradition!!These are a few pictures of Santiago's kindergarten... I thought some of you would like to see them. It is a very peaceful environment... simple yet very well thought out to protect the children from over stimulation and gently soothe their senses.
The flowers on the table, the pictures of angels and fairies on the wall, make them feel that the world is a very beautiful place to live in and connects them to nature.
The 7th graders came to the kindergarten yard and played beautiful springtime music for us!! What a treat!!
Santiago and Riley were at the head of the line, covering the ground with rose petals...they were so proud!!
They sang and danced beautifulle around the Maypole...then after them, the parents had a chance to dance too!!!
